Includes unlimited streaming via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

These songs were recorded raw, no frills, hence the name Fully Exposed on Naked Acoustic. This CD will be best enjoyed in a quiet room or on headphones to pick up all of the gems and mistakes of which hold equal importance in my opinion.
I tried to capture the emotion and delivery I originally intended for the song and didn't focus on perfection. So I hope you enjoy the individuality in each one. I mixed it up using different guitars, different gear, and just my delivery to you.
Best enjoyed with a glass of wine, whisky, or….

I will be posting more about the CD before it's release date and might mess with the order a bit.
    Purchasable with gift card

      $10 USD  or more

Waste Of Time © 2013 Tim Moyer I believe that I was put here for a reason That I am learning from you What I’ve learned is that I’m happy, Just to be searching to find the truth I know now that watching you Is not a waste of time I concede that life’s not easy to keep up to so I’m slowing it down I use my eyes and all my senses to hold each moment like my Nero's crown I know now that standing still is not a waste of time Don’t get me wrong. I know life is here and gone I might just be crazy wasting time to sing this song I am here to be with you That’s good reason to be sharing my time Life with you is so endless Feels like stealing but it’s a victimless crime I have known that holding you is not a waste I have known that loving you is not a waste I have known that spending my whole life with you is my best waste of time

Stupid Man 04:47
Stupid Man ©2011 Tim Moyer The first time I laid eyes on you There was nothing I could do To keep your eyes away from all the things that I had seen I cried all night and couldn’t sleep There was never love so deep I knew there’d come a day that I would have to let you go I can’t shield you Can’t conceal you Hard love, set you free I was just a stupid man I thought that you would understand What I didn’t know, you could hold your own without me I was just a stupid man For wanting you to hold my hand What you need to know, love is letting go, life will let you see I watched you take a fall of two I picked you up and helped you through I don’t think that you ever knew who picked me up was you There were times I had to go I couldn’t live and be that low I told myself I never want to be like my old man I can’t shield you Can’t conceal you Hard love, set you free I was just a stupid man I thought that you would understand What I didn’t know, you could hold your own without me I was just a stupid man For wanting you to hold my hand What you need to know, love is letting go, life will let you see

Pizza For Two ©2009 Tim Moyer I would post one million words for you If I had the knowledge that you do Take you to the mind of Harper Lee In the house where Denver likes to be I would read every chapter Annotate every point of view But then who would cook for you who would cook for you Pizza for two I would talk in literary terms But doppelganger might raise some concern It’s ok if satire is my name If you get an F I’ll take the blame I might be your euphemism May be your bad cliché I’ll bite off more than I can chew But then who would cook for you who would cook for you Pizza for two With my hands in the pizza dough I need in my love and a touch from Harriet Beecher Stowe Who would cook for you? Pizza for two

Cure my soul © Tim Moyer, Jaron Eldon, Tyler Moyer, Larry Thompson Momma threw down the golden rule to cure my soul Momma threw down the golden rule to cure my soul Momma threw down the golden rule Preacher played her for a fool Nothin that good book could do to cure my soul Deck of cards whiskey and smoke aint gonna cure my soul Deck of cards whiskey and smoke aint gonna cure my soul A deck of card whiskey and smoke The red light's on, but I'm done broke Spent my last dime for some hope to cure my soul Medicine man what you got to cure my soul Medicine man what you got to cure my soul Medicine man I beg and I plead But you aint got what I need Ain't no medicine for me that’s gonna cure my soul When it's time to lay me down lord cure my soul When it's time to lay me down lord cure my soul Got no love to share my name Just an empty plot next to my grave With this pine box my dues are paid to cure my soul

Eleven 04:47
©2010 Tim Moyer I wonder what Jesus would do Would he praise the hate that your morals cling to Romans 10:9 won’t be enough To hide the truth when he calls your bluff It’s not what you say It’s what you do That gets you through Eleven I wonder what Jesus would say Would he preach that true Love had no right to be gay Do you think he’d agree with the changes you’ve made Would he practice your fear or show love unafraid It’s not what you say It’s what you do That gets you through Eleven I don’t think he lets go Even if you don’t know Loves grows in seeds you sow Fear won’t make water… flow…….. I wonder how Jesus would feel If he knew that his name gave you license to steel It’s not what you say It’s what you do That gets you through Eleven

Tony's Place 05:08
Tony's Place © 2013 Tim Moyer I Set off with my family in mid 2001 we made our way up the coast to Washington Just a phone call with a guy who could have been anyone And A song about my Dad and the need to run the Dad I don't remember and the need to run The trip revealed the path of fevered wanderlust Every road a water color canvas with nothin' but our love packed tightly in a bus and everything we need right in front of us we had everything we need right in front of us There's no looking back love will bridge the gap No matter where we end this chase Friendship road will always lead to Tony's place Friendship road will lead us back to Tony's Place Together we watch our boys grow tall Next to that river we felt so small Talked about our troubles talked about the ski Never questioned serendipity Or wanted to know why Just trusted all that happened Never wanted to know why From a little patch or grass To a cozy castle The knuckle tree still stands From mustang Sally to tupelo honey You walked over that bridge hand and hand The beauty of that place didn’t come from the land The beauty of that place didn't come from the land There's no looking back love will bridge the gap No matter where we end this chase Friendship road will always lead to Tony's place Friendship road will lead us back to Tony's Place Take a leap of faith Love will fill the space Hearts can fill the space So here you sit all alone By that river of your dreams you once called home Raise your glass and toast to this truth Your friends well bring that river back to you Your friends well always bring that river back to you There's no looking back love will bridge the gap No matter where we end this chase Friendship road will always lead to Tony's place Friendship road will lead us back to Tony's Place

Never Fall 03:55
Never Fall ©2010 Tim Moyer (P)Moyer Publishing Group Throw it in Haphazard in my suitcase go my feelings once again You say when I will break the lock off open everything and let you in Through the door You have come with everything that I have never felt before Right now you show me how I won’t miss you You gave me everything I ever need to know Don’t need to hold on to anything I will never fall from you Talk me down I’m standing on the edge of all my love left jagged on the ground Tell me more Your syllables surround me like electrons protect my core Let me know The inside of you making all the outside beautiful Now I know so now I can go I won’t miss you You gave me everything I ever need to know Don’t need to hold on to anything I will never fall Let me go I’m weightless in your atmosphere Let me show I’m floating without any fear And every word that I remember keeps my path securely under me I won’t miss you You gave me everything I ever need to know Don’t need to hold on to anything I will never fall

I’m not leaving today ©2010 Tim Moyer (P)Moyer Publishing Group Feathers fall from the sky Bird of paradox tell me a lie Passionate wings can still fly Jonathan Livingston Seagull don’t die Thermal take me away Up to where the auspicious still find time to play Too many years that have gone away Too many butterflies left to decay Let it all go , I’m just not built that way though my wings may wither away, I’m not leaving today I still see your surprise Hidden underneath daily demise Can I loosen the ties Strap you to hot air balloons of disguise Let it all fall away Taking you back to before your wings started to fray Too many years that have gone away Too many butterflies left to decay Let it all go, I’m just not built that way Though my wings may wither away… I can still fly when I’m next to you Love never dies when it’s something true Never forget that I’m made of you There is no sky that can keep me away I’m not leaving today

Vow 04:11
Vow © 2008 Tim Moyer Loneliness had a home in my heart before you. Love was impervious I just couldn't break through You put a crack in the concrete, let the love break through I’m here to dedicate every last breath I take I vow every word true I will take you as long as you have and to hold me Till death do us part that won’t stop me I’d walk to heaven for you I will promise to be with you in good times and bad times for better, for worse there are no lines That I wouldn't cross for you Time is so still, but it can’t break my will for the day. I slip that ring on your finger and we slip away. We trudge our way through engagement as we make our stay Rhythm and melody creating harmony, Symphony begins to play. I will strip off my armor I will defend your honor I will stand on this alter I will pledge my self to you Now we turn to walk this world through Our paths take the same direction Everyone we meet will know for now we share one name

Which side of the aisle ©2009 Tim Moyer Does it still rile every vain inside your heart when you thought you could change the world Which side of the aisle Are you in denial of what you have become to send a boy to kill someone Just be thankful that you’ve got a chair to sit on And a big white roof over your head that keeps you warm Just be thankful that you’ve got a chair to sit on And a big white roof over your head keepin’ you warm at night Which side of the isle Is it just a pile of what you made it now and it’s hard to dig your way around it Which side of the aisle Can you even smile with all the pain you bring to everyone you send to war Just be thankful that you’ve got a chair to sit on And a big white roof over your head that keeps you warm Just be thankful that you’ve got a chair to sit on And a big white roof over your head keepin’ you warm at night It’s getting harder now to choose a side Red for the guns but and now the blue just found a better way to lie Which side of the aisle Does the Oil help you slide down money slopes in hopes you’ll fall on OPEC’s side Which side of the aisle Used to be a tofu eating commy bastard now you fly in private planes Just be thankful that you’ve got a chair to sit on And a big white roof over your head that keeps you warm Just be thankful that you’ve got a chair to sit on And a big white roof over your head keepin’ you warm at night Just me thankful that you’ve got our tax dollars

(C) 2009 Jaron Eldon Well maybe we could stay for a while Talk for a while The clock on the wall is a little bit slow I don't wanna go And the booth that we're in We've been here before And we'll be back again And all of this is true While I'm looking at you The grains of sugar on the table look a little like snow And the tea in our cups has left a stain, and it's getting low But I don't wanna go I don't wanna go It feels like we've known each other for years Let's just stay right here
